While traveling through Italy, I came across this prehistoric-looking plant called Dino Kale. Dino Kale reminds me of the fantastic Godzilla, except that the only thing this plant shares with the iconic creature is its leafy-green, crinkled texture and appearance.
Delectably from Italy, Dino Kale stands tall and proud in all its dark, green glory. This nutritious vegetable dates back to the 18th century. Rich in color and in history, Dino Kale is also incredibly strong! It will brave the scorching summer heat in order to produce in midwinter. In fact, Dino Kale isn’t afraid of the cold, it thrives best in a little winter frost.
My favorite aspect of Dino Kale isn’t how it looks or how it feels, but how it tastes! Dino Kale is sweeter than I imagined! The cold winter months help sweeten the leaves, making this vegetable, oh, so tasty.
