Fresh Apple Salsa

Serves 4 without double-dipping


  • 2 small apples

  • ½ medium red onion

  • ½ medium yellow pepper

  • ½ medium red pepper

  • 1 tablespoon of cilantro

  • 2 tablespoon of raisins or less

  • 2 tablespoon of walnuts or less

  • 1 squeeze lime juice

  • ½ grapefruit juice

  • ½ orange juice

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil or desired amount

  • Sea salt and black pepper to taste

  • Whole wheat tortillas chips


  1. Dice all the apples, red onion, peppers, chopped cilantro, add raisins, and mix in a medium bowl.

  2. Squeeze lime, grapefruit, orange juice, then add the olive oil.

  3. Finally, add the walnuts then mix the ingredients well.

  4. Add sea salt and black pepper to taste.
